...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 330 AM CDT EARLY THIS MORNING...
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
county, Brown.
* WHEN...Until 330 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1223 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Brownwood, Early, Blanket, Camp Bowie, Zephyr, Owens and
Indian Creek.
- This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
Gifford at Beaver, Austin Street at Avenue G, Cordell at
Anderson, Good Shephard at 11th, Belle Plain at Romines,
Indian Creek at 9th, and Magnolia at Belmeade.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
