...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 715 AM CDT THIS MORNING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
counties, Menard and Schleicher.
* WHEN...Until 715 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 403 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have
fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Fort Mckavett, Adams, Camp Sol Mayer and The Intersection Of
Us-190 And Ranch Road 2084.
- This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
Toe Nail crossing San Saba River, Dunagan crossing San Saba
River and Russell crossing Rocky Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
