...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Colleton County in southeastern South Carolina...

* WHEN...Until 730 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 628 PM EDT, emergency management reported water on Bells
    Highway near Exit 57 of Interstate 95 due to heavy downpours.
    Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding across
    portions of Walterboro, SC. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Bells Highway at Exit 57 of Interstate 95 is the most likely
    place to experience minor flooding. Additional rainfall amounts
    of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain
    will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Walterboro, Hendersonville, Colleton Medical Center, Thayer,
    Drawdy and Lowcountry Regional Airport.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Colleton County in southeastern South Carolina...

* WHEN...Until 730 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 701 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor
    flooding, primarily along the Interstate 95 corridor. Between 2.5
    and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the
    area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Walterboro, Hendersonville, Colleton Medical Center, Thayer,
    Drawdy and Lowcountry Regional Airport.
