* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...La Salle County in north central Illinois...
Lee County in north central Illinois...
Grundy County in northeastern Illinois...
Southwestern Kendall County in northeastern Illinois...
* WHEN...Until 900 AM CDT Monday.
* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Roads and
streets may be flooded. Slow moving or standing water may continue.
High water may recede slowly from flooded areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 104 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rainfall moving out of the area, but some streams will
continue to rise due to earlier heavy rainfall. Standing water
may also be slow to recede in some areas. Up to 3 inches of rain
occurred in multiple locations, including east of Amboy, near
Earlville, north of Ottawa, and east of Streator.

Ottawa, Dixon, Streator, Morris, La Salle, Mendota, Coal City,
Marseilles, Amboy, Sheridan, Oglesby, Seneca, Earlville, Gardner,
North Utica, Serena, Franklin Grove, Mazon and Paw Paw.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Flood Advisory means minor flooding along waterways and other poor
drainage areas is imminent or may already be occurring. Persons in
the advisory area should use caution and avoid flood waters.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
