...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1230 PM PST THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Inyo County in southeast California, 
  including Death Valley National Park.

* WHEN...Until 1230 PM PST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Rises in small streams and normally dry washes. Water over 
  roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 827 AM PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor
    flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the
    advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Furnace Creek, Stovepipe Wells, Shoshone and Texas Springs
    Campground.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
