* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Southeastern Grand County in east central Utah...
* WHEN...Until 345 AM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos.
Dangerous flows over low-water crossings.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 149 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding.
Between 0.2 and 0.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Onion Creek, Placer Creek, Steans Creek, Castle Creek and Waring
Canyon.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Castle Valley.

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the

The Flood Advisory will expire at 345 AM MDT early this morning for a
portion of east central Utah, including the following area, Grand.
Excess runoff from heavy rain has ended over the warned area. If
flooding has been observed...Please report it to your local law
enforcement agency. Arroyo and small stream flooding is no longer
expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining road
closures.
