...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM MDT THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...West Central Pitkin County in west central Colorado...
* WHEN...Until 915 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...A mudslide over Highway 133 north of Redstone is on going
or expected to begin shortly. Avoid traveling and recreating
through the advisory area.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 610 PM MDT, local law enforcement reported a mudslide due to
heavy rain 1 to 3 miles north of Redstone due to thunderstorms.
This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Between 0.2 and
0.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Redstone is the most likely place to experience minor flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Highway 133 is prone to rockslides and mudslides in heavy rain. Stay
alert for rocks and debris on roads, and avoid driving on flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
