* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...For a portion of central California, including the
following county, Kern.
* WHEN...Until 100 PM PST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 501 AM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly in the advisory area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Bakersfield, Wasco, Arvin, Shafter, Taft, Maricopa, Dustin
Acres, Tupman, Valley Acres, Rosedale, Ford City, South Taft,
Taft Heights, Mettler, Lamont, Weedpatch, Derby Acres,
McKittrick, Frazier Park and Harris Ranch.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
