...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Southern Broward County in southeastern Florida...

* WHEN...Until 515 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 314 PM EDT, Fort Lauderdale Emergency Manager reported heavy
    rain in near KFLL due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing
    or expected to begin shortly. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Near KFLL is the most likely place to experience minor flooding.
    Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Hollywood, Hallandale, Dania Beach, West Park, Estates Of Fort
    Lauderdale, Ravenswood Estates, Oak Point, Chambers Estates, Fort
    Lauderdale - Hollywood International Airport, Pembroke Park,
    Golden Beach and Hollywood Downtown.
