...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 330 AM CDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive 
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following 
  counties, Bexar, Comal and Kendall.

* WHEN...Until 330 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Dangerous flows over low-water crossings.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1220 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    San Antonio, Boerne, Canyon Lake, Helotes, Fair Oaks Ranch,
    Bulverde, Garden Ridge, Shavano Park, Hollywood Park, Cross
    Mountain, Bergheim, Timberwood Park, Guadalupe River State
    Park, The Dominion, Leon Springs, Kreutzberg, Spring Branch,
    Smithson Valley, Walnut Grove and Nelson City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
