* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Southern Broward County in southeastern Florida...
Northern Miami-Dade County in southeastern Florida...
* WHEN...Until 630 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Overflowing poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 330 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have
fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Miami, Hollywood, Miami Beach, Surfside, Miami Gardens,
Hallandale, North Miami, North Miami Beach, Aventura, Dania
Beach, Sunny Isles Beach, West Park, Miami Shores, North Bay
Village, El Portal, Golden Glades, Pinewood, Little Haiti and
Ojus.
