...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 PM MDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
  expected.

* WHERE...Northwestern Elbert County in east central Colorado...

* WHEN...Until 345 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Rises in small streams and normally dry creeks. Water over
  roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

    - At 141 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This may cause small stream flooding. Between 0.7
    and 1.2 inches of rain have fallen in 20 minutes in northwest
    Elbert County.

    - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Mainly rural areas of Northwestern Elbert County.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
