* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 316 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Letcher, Bath, Loyall, Vicco, Wallins Creek, Blackey, Slemp,
Daisy, Delphia, Cornettsville, Ulvah, Leatherwood, Banks, Hallie,
Gilley, Bluefield, Red Star, Arthur, Big Rock and Lilley Cornett
Woods.

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

...FLOOD ADVISORY IS CANCELLED...
The Flood Advisory is cancelled for a portion of southeast Kentucky,
including the following areas, Harlan, Knott, Leslie, Letcher and
Perry.
The threat for widespread flooding has increased over portions of the
area. Therefore the Flood Advisory has been replaced by two Flash
Flood Warnings. The first Flash Flood Warning is for portions of
Harlan, Bell, and Leslie Counties until 630 PM EDT. The second Flash
Flood Warning is for portions of Perry, Letcher, and Knott Counties
until 645 PM EDT. Please refer to those two bulletins for more
information.
