...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1245 AM EDT SATURDAY...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...East Central Casey County in central Kentucky...
Southern Lincoln County in central Kentucky...
* WHEN...Until 1245 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1039 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have
fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the
area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Kings Mountain, Waynesburg, Walltown, South Fork, New Salem,
Geneva and Broughtentown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

The Flood Advisory will expire at 1245 AM EDT early this morning for
a portion of central Kentucky, including the following areas, Casey
and Lincoln.
The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a
threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.
