* Flash Flood Warning for...
Northeastern Custer County in central Nebraska...
* Until 1000 PM CDT.
* At 543 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.5 to 1 inch in 1
hour. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Sargent, Lillian, Milburn, Walworth, Divide Hill, Gates and Big

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

rain have diminished across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches
of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to a half are
still possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.
