The National Weather Service in Phoenix has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Central La Paz County in west central Arizona...

* Until 500 AM MST.

* At 101 AM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain 
  has fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Quartzsite, Brenda, Bouse and Ehrenberg.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
  Poormans Wash, Kaiser Wash, Plomosa Wash, Tyson Wash, Scaddan 
  Wash, Cunningham Wash, Apache Wash, Cholla Wash, La, Goodman Wash, 
  Paz Wash, La, Limekiln Wash, Smith Wash, Bouse Wash, Colorado 
  River, Ehrenberg Wash, Calcite Wash, French Creek and Lake Wash.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
