Anderson County in east central Kansas...
* Until 100 PM CDT.
* At 904 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of
rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

At 550 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain in a 3rd water rescue is taking
place a mile east of the city of Garnett. Between 2 and 4.5 inches
of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches
are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.
