Northwestern Pecos County in southwestern Texas... * Until 1100 PM CDT. * At 749 PM CDT, emergency management reported significant flooding on U.S. Highway 285 about 15 miles south of Fort Stockton. Doppler radar continued to indicate thunderstorms producing very heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding.
