The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southwestern McCurtain County in southeastern Oklahoma...
  Red River County in northeastern Texas...

* Until 1130 AM CDT.

* At 831 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain along a line from 7 miles west of Manchester to near De
  Kalb, or along a line from 19 miles northwest of Clarksville to 13
  miles northwest of New Boston, moving northeast at 5 mph. Between 1
  and 3 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 2
  to 2.5 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to
  begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
           drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Clarksville, Bagwell, Manchester, Detroit, Avery, Annona, Negley,
  Bryarly, Albion, Silver City, English, Redland, Kiomatia, Woodland,
  Kanawha and Lydia.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

  Southwestern McCurtain County in southeastern Oklahoma...
  Red River County in northeastern Texas...

* Until 130 PM CDT.

* At 1118 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain along a line from 8 miles northwest of Manchester to 8
  miles southwest of Arkinda, or along a line from 24 miles north of
  Clarksville to 9 miles west of Foreman, moving northeast at 5 mph.
  Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall
  amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash
  flooding is ongoing.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.
