* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northern Washington County in southwestern Alabama...

* Until 330 AM CDT.

* At 1229 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 4 inches of rain
  have fallen over the past hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to
  4 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing
  or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
           drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Saint Stephens, Millry, Koenton, Bigbee, Loper, Silver Cross,
  Frankville, Healing Springs, Barlow, Dunbar, Shady Grove and
  Mehaffey.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the

3 to 4 inches are possible in the warned area, locally as much as 6
inches over the next 2 hours. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.
