...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT MDT TONIGHT 
FOR EAST CENTRAL QUAY COUNTY...

At 837 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy 
rain across the warned area. Up to 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. 
Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned 
area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Logan.

This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 341 and 348, U.S. 
Highway 54, State Roads 469, and 278.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

At 1102 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain had fallen from 
earlier thunderstorms across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.75 
inches of rain is estimated to have fallen. The threat for flash 
flooding will continue.
