* Flash Flood Warning for...
Caldwell Parish in north central Louisiana...
Southern Jackson Parish in north central Louisiana...
Northern La Salle Parish in north central Louisiana...
South Central Ouachita Parish in north central Louisiana...
Winn Parish in north central Louisiana...
Southeastern Bienville Parish in northwestern Louisiana...
Northeastern Natchitoches Parish in northwestern Louisiana...
* Until 1030 AM CDT.
* At 714 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between
1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen across Northern Winn and
Caldwell Parishes. The expected rainfall rate is 2 to 3 inches in 1
hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are possible in
the warned area through 1030 am. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Winnfield, Columbia, Olla, Clarks, Grayson, Urania, Goldonna,
Tullos, Dodson, Saline, Calvin, Atlanta, Sikes, Hudson, Joyce,
Standard, Burlington, Kelly, Spaulding and Vixen.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
