The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Haskell County in west central Texas...
  Jones County in west central Texas...

* Until 130 AM CDT.

* At 1018 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain  continuing to move across much of the Big Country. 
  Rainfall totals up to 3 inches has already fallen, with an 
  additional 1 to 2 inches of rain possible. Flash flooding is 
  ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Northeastern Abilene, Haskell, Stamford, Anson, Hamlin, Rule, 
  Hawley, Lueders, Rochester, Weinert, OBrien, Avoca, Paint Creek, 
  Sagerton, Lake Stamford Marina, Nugent, Neinda, Irby, Noodle and 
  Tuxedo.

This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
CO Rd. 444 crossing Noodle Creek, CO Rd. 212 crossing California 
Creek, Loop Road crossing Paint Creek, County Road 274 crossing 
Brushy Creek, crossings along County Road 247, County Road 279 
crossing North Paint Creek, County Road 245 crossing California 
Creek, County Road 242 crossing Flag Branch, crossings along County 
Road 141 and County Road 260 crossing Harmony Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
