The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southeastern Stephens County in southern Oklahoma...

* Until 1030 AM CDT.

* At 720 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of 
  rain have fallen in around one hour. Additional rainfall amounts 
  of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding 
  is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, and streets as well as other poor drainage and
           low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Velma.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
