Southeastern Denton County in north central Texas...
* Until 1045 AM CDT.
* At 744 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 2 inches in 1 hour.
Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

At 839 AM CDT, emergency management reported flash flooding ongoing
across the warned area. Multiple roads are impassable across portions
of downtown Dallas due to high water, with underpasses being the most
impacted. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. The expected
rainfall rate is 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1
to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is
already occurring.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
