The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Central Lamar County in north central Texas...

* Until 1100 AM CDT.

* At 825 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
  expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
           drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Paris, Reno, Blossom, Lake Crook, Lake Gibbons, Sumner,
  Pattonville, Deport, Toco, Sun Valley, Brookston, Globe, Clardy,
  Tigertown, East Direct, Milton and Direct.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM CDT THIS MORNING
FOR CENTRAL LAMAR COUNTY...

At 907 AM CDT, emergency management reported significant flooding
along highway 82 and in the Blossom area. Between 2 and 4 inches of
rain have fallen. Between 1 to 3 inches of rain per hour is occurring
with these storms. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban
         areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Paris, Reno, Blossom, Lake Crook, Lake Gibbons, Sumner,
