The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Payne County in central Oklahoma...
  Northeastern Noble County in northern Oklahoma...

* Until 1130 AM CDT.

* At 808 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are 
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Yale, Morrison, Glencoe, Red Rock, Marland, Sooner Lake and Quay.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 AM CDT THIS 
MORNING FOR NORTHEASTERN PAYNE AND NORTHEASTERN NOBLE COUNTIES...

At 1045 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated earlier thunderstorms that 
produced between 3 and 4 inches of rainfall near Yale. Light to 
moderate rainfall persists and may result an in additional rainfall 
amounts generally less than 1 inch. Flash flooding is likely ongoing 
or expected to begin shortly.
