* Until 330 PM CDT.
* At 209 PM CDT, emergency management reported multiple roads
impassable due to flooding across rural Hancock, northwest
Harrison, and Pearl River Counties. Between 9 and 16 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
SOURCE...Emergency management reported.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

SOUTHEASTERN ST. TAMMANY PARISH AND HANCOCK, NORTHERN HARRISON AND
SOUTHEASTERN PEARL RIVER COUNTIES...
The heavy rain has ended. An areal flood warning remains in effect
for southeastern St. Tammany Parish and Hancock, northern Harrison,
and southeastern Pearl River Counties where ongoing significant
flooding continues caused by rises in creeks and rivers. Please
continue to heed remaining road closures.
A Flood Watch remains in effect until 700 AM CDT Friday for portions
of southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi.
