The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southeastern Harrison County in southern Mississippi...

* Until 130 AM CDT.

* At 1036 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain
  have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
           flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Gulfport, Biloxi, Diberville, Lyman and Gulfport Airport.

Due to already very saturated grounds, elevated rivers, and already 2
to 3 inches of rain in the last hour, rainfall will turn to run off
and quickly lead to flash flooding if not already occurring in a few
locations.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

FOR SOUTHEASTERN HARRISON COUNTY...

At 1118 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 2.5 and 5 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban
         areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Gulfport, Biloxi, Diberville, Lyman and Gulfport Airport.

Reports are coming in of stalled cars on highway 90 in Biloxi along
with other flooded roads around Biloxi.

fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban
         areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Gulfport, Biloxi, Diberville, Lyman and Gulfport Airport.

Reports are coming in of of multiple stalled cars on highway 90 in
Biloxi along with other flooded roads around Biloxi. In addition
reports of water approaching homes around Palmer Drive and Ford
Street.
