...The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a Flood 
Advisory for the following rivers in Colorado...

  Colorado River above Grand Lake affecting Grand County.

.Moderate to heavy rain Monday afternoon into Tuesday morning will 
fall on a primed snowpack leading to additional runoff. Flows in 
rivers may increase quickly and produce minor lowland flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

...REPLACES RIVER FLOOD WATCH...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt is expected.

* WHERE...Colorado River above Grand Lake.

* WHEN...From this evening to Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 7.6 feet, Water begins to impact low lying areas 
  along the river.
  At 7.7 feet, Approaches to foot bridges and trails along and 
  crossing the river are flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

    - At 12:00 PM MDT Monday the stage was 6.8 feet.

    - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.

    - Forecast...The river will oscillate below flood stage with
    a maximum value of 7.9 feet just after midnight tonight.

    - Action stage is 7.6 feet.

    - Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
