...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM THIS MORNING TO TOMORROW MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Chikaskia River near Blackwell.

* WHEN...From this morning to tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Shallow... short duration overflows occur 
  on low-lying bottomlands along and low water crossings over the 
  Chikaskia River in extreme northeastern Grant and Kay counties.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 23.0 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 28.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise to 26.2 feet this evening. It
    will then fall to 25.0 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will
    rise to 25.1 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall again
    and remain below flood stage.
  - Action stage is 26.0 feet.
  - Flood stage is 29.0 feet.
