The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Ouray County in southwestern Colorado...
  Northeastern San Miguel County in southwestern Colorado...
  Southeastern Montrose County in west central Colorado...

* Until 1245 PM MDT.

* At 1208 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles east of
  Norwood, moving east at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  northwestern Ouray, northeastern San Miguel and southeastern
  Montrose Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of natures leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

FOR NORTHWESTERN OURAY...NORTHERN SAN MIGUEL AND SOUTH CENTRAL
MONTROSE COUNTIES...

At 1222 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles north of
Sawpit moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northwestern Ouray, northern San Miguel and south central Montrose
Counties.
