* Until 430 PM PDT.
* At 354 PM PDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Mammouth
Mountain, or 7 miles southwest of Mammoth Lakes, moving south at 5
mph.
HAZARD...Quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.

Devils Postpile and Red Meadow Ranger Station.

building.
Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of natures leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,

FOR EASTERN MADERA AND NORTHEASTERN FRESNO COUNTIES...
At 414 PM PDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles southwest of
Mammoth Lakes, and is nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.
This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
eastern Madera and northeastern Fresno Counties.

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
