The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  East central Emery County in central Utah...

* Until 445 PM MDT.

* At 409 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 20 miles southeast
  of Sunnyside, or 23 miles north of Green River, moving southeast at
  20 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  east central Emery County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground
lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately.
Lightning is one of natures leading killers. Remember, if you can
hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR EAST CENTRAL EMERY COUNTY IS
CANCELLED...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.  However small hail and
gusty winds are still possible with this thunderstorm.
