  Guilford County in central North Carolina...

* Until 730 PM EDT.

* At 625 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Kernersville,
  or near Winston-Salem, moving east at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Greensboro, High Point, McLeansville, Summerfield, Gibsonville,
  Stokesdale, Pleasant Garden, Jamestown, Haw River State Park, and
  Lake Guilford Mackintosh Marina.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 33 and 35, and between Mile
Markers 113 and 131.
 Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 132 and 139, and between Mile
Markers 206 and 226.
 Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 89 and 103.
 Interstate 74 between Mile Markers 65 and 76.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Straight line winds can blow down trees, power lines, and damage

FOR GUILFORD COUNTY...

At 702 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Greensboro,
moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated. A wind gust to 56 mph reported at the 
PTI Airport in Greensboro at 648 PM. 

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
