The National Weather Service in North Platte has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Custer County in central Nebraska...

* Until 700 PM CDT.

* At 612 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles east of
  Victoria Springs State Recreation Area, or 12 miles north of Broken
  Bow, moving east at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect 
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Weissert, Lillian, and Round Valley.

This includes Highway 2 between mile markers 265 and 267.
