The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Walton County in the Panhandle of Florida...
  West central Holmes County in the Panhandle of Florida...

* Until 715 PM CDT.

* At 640 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles southeast
  of Florala, moving southeast at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Union, Liberty, Paxton, Gordon, Cluster Springs, Leonia, Gaskin,
  Sand Hill, Barker Store, Prosperity, Darlington, Arrant Settlement,
  Glendale, Pleasant Hill, Center Ridge, New Harmony, Piney Grove,
  Caney Creek, and Lakewood.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of natures leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTHWESTERN WALTON AND WEST
CENTRAL HOLMES COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 715 PM CDT...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However, small
hail, gusty winds and heavy rain are still possible with this
thunderstorm.
