The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Miller County in southwestern Arkansas...
  North central Lafayette County in southwestern Arkansas...
  North central Marion County in northeastern Texas...
  Central Cass County in northeastern Texas...

* Until 715 PM CDT.

* At 633 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Linden, or 14
  miles west of Atlanta, moving northeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Bivins, Bloomburg, Mount Pleasant, Queen City, Fouke, Red Hill,
  Fairview, Domino, Pleasant Hill, Atlanta, Avinger, Ravanna, Linden,
  Spirit Lake, Genoa, Fort Lynn, Garland, Brightstar, and Texarkana.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for southwestern
Arkansas...and northeastern Texas.
