Southeastern Brown County in south central Indiana...
Bartholomew County in central Indiana...
* Until 545 PM EDT.
* At 512 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles southeast
of Nashville, or 12 miles southwest of Columbus, moving northeast
at 55 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
* Locations impacted include...
Columbus, Edinburgh, Elizabethtown, Clifford, Spurgeons Corner,
Newbern, Stone Head, Gnaw Bone, and Taylorsville.
This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 61 and 78.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
