The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Boone County in central Missouri...

* Until 615 PM CDT.

* At 541 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 
  7 miles south of Paris to near Ashland, moving northeast at 55 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
           damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near...
  Columbia Regional Airport, Columbia, Murry, Ashland, Centralia, 
  Easley and Hallsville around 545 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by the severe thunderstorm include Wilton.

This includes the following State Parks...
Rock Bridge State Park, Finger Lakes State Park and Jewell Cemetery 
Historic Site.

This includes Interstate 70 in Missouri between exits 124 and 133.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from 
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and 
large hail.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek 
shelter immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a 
well-built structure.

...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING IS CANCELLED FOR BOONE COUNTY...

The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe 
limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property. 
Therefore, the warning has been cancelled. However, gusty winds and 
heavy rain are still possible with these thunderstorms.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT 
Tuesday for a portion of central Missouri.
