* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southeastern Colfax County in northeastern New Mexico...
  West Central Union County in northeastern New Mexico...

* Until 600 PM MDT.

* At 528 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Farley, or 
  26 miles south of Des Moines, moving northeast at 5 mph.

  HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect
           hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.
           Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Gladstone and Farley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from 
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large 
hail.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and is leading 
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded 
roadways.

Accumulations of small hail on roads can create very slick and 
hazardous driving conditions.

Motorists can expect brief but sudden changes in visibility and 
ponding of water on roadways as storms move through the area.

EAST CENTRAL COLFAX AND WEST CENTRAL UNION COUNTIES...

At 553 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 13 miles north of 
Farley, or 18 miles southwest of Des Moines, moving north at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
