Southern Stanly County in central North Carolina...
* Until 545 PM EDT.
* At 453 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Sturdivants,
or 10 miles west of Wadesboro, moving north at 15 mph. Another
strong storm was also located between Peachland and Polkton.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Wadesboro, Ansonville, Midland, Polkton, Locust, Norwood, Oakboro,

SOUTHERN STANLY COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 545 PM EDT...
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, gusty
winds and heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm.
