* At 339 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Fort Scott,
  moving southeast at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect

At 358 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Arcadia, or 9
miles south of Fort Scott, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and has exited the warned area. Therefore, the warning has
been allowed to expire.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
southeastern Kansas...and southwestern and west central Missouri.
