* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southwestern Harnett County in central North Carolina...
  Northwestern Cumberland County in central North Carolina...

* Until 1100 PM EDT.

* At 1019 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Pineview, 
  or 9 miles north of Fort Bragg, moving southeast at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Fayetteville, Fort Bragg, Pope AFB, Spring Lake, Wade, Olivia,
  Pineview, Anderson Creek, Timberlake, and Bonnie Doone.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Straight line winds can blow down trees, power lines, and damage
mobile homes and other buildings. Seek shelter in a sturdy structure
until the storm has passed. Stay away from windows as flying debris
generated by damaging winds can be deadly.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of natures leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
