North Central Socorro County in central New Mexico...
* Until 415 PM MDT.
* At 337 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near San Acacia,
or 18 miles north of Socorro, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
La Joya, Bernardo and Contreras.
This includes the following highways...
Highway 60 between Mile Markers 166 and 177. Interstate 25 between
Mile Markers 165 and 177.
