The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  North Central Socorro County in central New Mexico...

* Until 415 PM MDT.

* At 346 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles west of
  Bernardo, or 22 miles southwest of Belen, moving southeast at 25
  mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
           roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  La Joya, Bernardo and Contreras.

This includes the following highways...
Highway 60 between Mile Markers 166 and 168. Interstate 25 between
Mile Markers 165 and 176.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
