* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Central Santa Fe County in north central New Mexico...
West Central San Miguel County in northeastern New Mexico...
* Until 445 PM MDT.
* At 411 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Eldorado At
Santa Fe, or 9 miles south of Santa Fe, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Santa Fe, Eldorado At Santa Fe, Pecos, Canada De Los Alamos,
Glorieta, Hyde Memorial State Park, Lamy, Tesuque, Rowe and
Tererro.
This includes the following highways...
State Road 63 between Mile Markers 0 and 22. Highway 285 between Mile
Markers 284 and 290. Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 273 and 310.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
Motorists can expect brief but sudden changes in visibility and
ponding of water on roadways as storms move through the area.
Heavy rains from severe thunderstorms can produce sudden and
dangerous flows in arroyos, ditches and over low water crossings. Do
not attempt to drive through areas where water covers the roadway.

miles southeast of Santa Fe, moving east at 35 mph.

AND WEST CENTRAL SAN MIGUEL COUNTIES...
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning has been cancelled. However, gusty winds and
heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm.
