  Northeastern Socorro County in central New Mexico...
  Southwestern Torrance County in central New Mexico...
  Southeastern Valencia County in central New Mexico...

* Until 530 PM MDT.

* At 443 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles southwest
  of Abo, or 25 miles southeast of Belen, moving east at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Mountainair, Willard, Abo and Gran Quivira.

This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 176 and 218.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

Motorists can expect brief but sudden changes in visibility and
ponding of water on roadways as storms move through the area.

At 501 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Abo, or 26
miles southwest of Estancia, moving east at 25 mph.
