* At 1255 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Baxterville,
or 7 miles southwest of Purvis, moving southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR SOUTHEASTERN FORREST AND
SOUTHERN LAMAR COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning has been cancelled. However, small hail,
gusty winds and heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm.
To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
Jackson.
