The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Eastland County in north central Texas...

* Until 1145 PM CDT.

* At 1044 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Putnam, or
  10 miles southeast of Baird, moving east at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect 
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Nimrod, Lake Cisco, Kokomo, Staff, Eastland, Lake Olden, Carbon,
  Okra, Morton Valley, Pleasant Hill, Lake Leon, Cisco, Scranton,
  Olden, Sabanno, Ranger, and Gorman.

This includes Interstate 20 between mile markers 324 and 350.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR EASTLAND COUNTY WILL EXPIRE AT
1145 PM CDT...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits. Therefore the warning will be allowed to expire.  However
small hail and heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for
central and north central Texas.
